Leopardwood Preview Video

A short preview of what’s to come!

Still traveling!! But this time the landscape has changed from desert horizons to sea. I am currently on a boat cruising up the east coast of Australia and also visited the island of Moorea (French Polynesia) a few weeks ago. I’m working on some new music that is water inspired, while receiving updates on how Leopardwood, my upcoming album is unfolding in Canada. I must say I pinch myself frequently because I feel so lucky to have a life filled with an abundance of travel and music.

The album, Leopardwood, is currently in the hands of Mike Ardagh an extraordinary drummer and engineer based in Toronto. It’s certainly a fantastic experience collaborating across the globe. He’s been busy writing drum parts for the album and is starting to work with Justin Dunlop who will be playing bass. Pretty soon Mike will be heading into the studio to record his parts! Exciting!

I released the Leopardwood Journals last month. This is a very raw account of my recording process over the course of 6 days in the Shearer’s Quarters located in the Australian Outback. Me, myself, and I (plus Myrtle the dog!) recording guitar and vocals.
