at sunrise this morning

We arrived in Noosa this morning and kayaked to shore for breakfast and ice-cream at Massimos. We have been saying we feel like we’re on some strange edge of reality.. nights have been running into days where meals and sleep happen when they can. We’ve been doing night runs to align with tides and last night was so calm and tranquil. The previous night, however, was quite wild with off-shore lightening storms, rain and quite a swell.I’d compare the motion to being on one of those salt and pepper shaker rides at the carnival. I tried to keep myself distracted from nausea by munching on cold grapefruit and filling my ears with sounds from bent by elephants.
